| General Information |
After a very quick drive from the airport along the beautiful and typical road, I get to Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort, the hotel I had chosen to spend my vacations at and my first though is that this place is awesome and the location could not be better!
Modern Mexican architecture, spacious areas and lush tropical gardens are an open invitation to discover the charm of this property located right on the beach, in the heart of Puerto Vallarta`s North hotel zone.
The hotel possess an extensive area and has optimally been well distributed all the way through the property. This has contributed to the conception of two sections: Club and Grand Section.
Each of the sections are an excellent choice for whatever your needs as a traveler are. I look around and notice this resort is suitable for couples, families, seniors and indulgent travelers seeking to get away from it all.
Offering unrestrained relaxation yet continuous entertainment, this seems to be the perfect place to spend great days having fun under the sun... That is what Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort is and I anticipate it to be the perfect escape !!!

Grand Accomodations
I was offered both of the bedding choices in this section (two double beds or one king size bed) and as I come in my preferred selection I can almost picture myself relaxing in this comfortable room with air conditioned, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, iron and ironing board, fully equipped bathroom with bath tub and shower.
There are fine amenities in the bathroom such as hair dryer, shampoo - conditioner, body lotion, bath and facial soap, shower cap, bath robe and slippers and two courtesy bottles of water.
As I walk down the hall to get acquainted with the pool area, I notice there are handicapped rooms available.
After spending some time in the areas I come back to my room and notice a maid had been here to make turn down service and replaced the towels I used when I showered earlier I think to myself I made the right decision when I choose to stay in this section !
Club Accomodations
Upon check in the friendly front desk personnel gave my friends the choice of two double beds or one king size bed out of the 186 rooms. They are pleased to see they are assigned with a spacious room with air conditioned, safety deposit box, fully equipped bathroom (small bath tub and shower). Amenities in their bathroom include shampoo-conditioner, body lotion, bath and facial soap, shower cap, plus two courtesy bottles of water.
They learn there are handicapped rooms available in this section so they will make sure they let their neighbors know this is the place to come for their next vacation.

I was told that Hotel Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort offered the best All Inclusive program in the area.
As I explore the different places and activities side to side at the hotel, I have experienced an excellent service and kind friendliness from all the staff and I can see the other guests enjoying themselves as much as I do food, pools, entertainment! Everything is so pleasant and fun let me show you !

Pools and Areas
In a sunny beach destination like Puerto Vallarta a good swimming pool is a priority ! Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort has so much to offer in this area that there is always a pool that adjusts to your preferences:
Grand Section
My very favorite spot to unwind ! this is where the heated infinity pool is located. This area has direct access to the beach and offers pool chairs and lounge beds and a unique selection of activities with a touch of soft music.
Beach Club
The activities pool is located next to the garden field, and it is where the cheerful staff organizes most of the daily activities program including a wide variety of contests and a selection of the best music. Around the pool lounge chairs are available.
Kids entertain themselves in the pool located right next to the activities pool and take pleasure joining the special activities the staff organizes.
They also have their very own pool in the Kids Club where they can have fun while being supervised by the staff in charge.
Adult Section
Located next to the tennis courts, an adults pool with a cozy Jacuzzi becomes a peaceful and hidden private area perfect for relaxation. Bar service and lounge chairs are available and topless is permitted in this area.
Club Section
This is a family oriented pool, with a large selection of music and activities to select from, my friends and I can spend some time having fun or just sun bathing on one of the lounge chairs available. A kids pool is also located next to this pool.

Activities |
Lets all have fun under the sun... !!!
I can spend a full day filled with entertaining and exciting moments. I check with the daily activities program at the activities center and find that some of the activities are organized by the pool and some others at the beach from 10:00 to 17:00 hours.
Day Activities
To get sporty I will try non motorized water sports like kayak, boogie board, snorkel as well as an introductory dive lesson at the pool.
I can also use one of the two tennis courts where racket and balls are included.
Because staying in Grand Section entitles you to enter the Gym, I can also enjoy good exercise in the morning and later in the afternoon a challenging table game in the games room with other guests staying in Grand Section.
Nightly Shows
Each night is party time at Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort !
Ive been having so much fun every night with the shows and each of them is a perfect occasion for getting started!
Later on at night I join the activities team for a night out until the sun raises in the horizon and a new day is here!
Kids Club
For the little ones there is a Kids Club, daily service from 10:00 to 17:00 hours. Kids ages from 5 to 12 years old
